About Us

about us

Right2Live Recovery is a nonprofit sober living community formed in Charleston, South Carolina by three recovering alcoholics/addicts.  Addiction is a nationwide problem that effects more than 19 million people in this country alone.  Some of the environmental factors that may increase a person’s risk of addiction include a chaotic home environment, parent’s drug use and attitude toward drugs, peer influences and community attitudes toward drugs.  As a nonprofit sober living community our purpose is to provide safety, structure, spiritual guidance all while learning to live a new life in recovery.

Our residents will be taught how to promote positive impact on the community through volunteering, AA meetings and actively working with others through a spiritual program of recovery.  Providing a healthy, safe and spiritually stimulating environment are the basis on which finding a new way of life and growing as productive individuals in recovery will be accomplished.

Our aim is to provide healthy housing communities for those struggling to transition into a life new way of life without mind altering substances.  Spiritually empowering, supporting emotional health, safety, cleanliness and peer-based recovery are just a few of the aspects of Right2Live Recovery housing model.

By positioning our organization in a region of the country that is currently facing an alarmingly high demand for recovery homes we feel we can help as many new cases of addiction as we are able to accommodate.

Regaining sight of the beauty in what this life has to offer may seem all but unreachable in early recovery. Therefore, our spiritual group structure; house organization and fellow member accountability is essential to our group model.
Each sober living location consists of at least one Program Administrator, 24/7 access to house managers, and a strong peer-support network of awesome men who work tirelessly each day to build a better life. Most of our staff are credentialed with certifications in the field of addiction, including Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRR) and Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS).
24/7 Access to Staff in Recovery. We want all of our residents to be able to access the best peer support and professional support possible at an affordable cost. All of our staff are in recovery, which we believe is necessary for our staff to be able to truly understand and relate to our residents.
